Analysis of the Wyoming Capitol Continues to Progress

The preliminary study to restore and rehabilitate the Wyoming Capitol is progressing as extensive assessment and evaluation is conducted to determine the overall needs of the building. Some of the more noticeable work was completed last week on the exterior of the building, including the dome.

Former Guernsey Treasurer Sentenced for Income Tax Evasion

Leslie Diane Zynda, age 39, of Marion, Iowa, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Alan B. Johnson yesterday on the charge of tax evasion stemming from the misappropriation of funds from the Town of Guernsey IRS Criminal Investigation Special Agent in Charge Stephen Boyd announced.

Wyoming Job Growth Slows in Q3 2012

Wyoming’s job market is showing signs of weakness according to data from the Research and Planning section of the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services. Job growth slowed sharply from 2.2% in the second quarter of 2012 to 0.6% in the third quarter.
