The University of Wyoming has released the names of the four finalists for UW President. The Board of Trustees received the list on Friday after making the decision to make the names public the day before. In a release, UW said all the finalists agreed to allow public disclosure of their names.
UW Spokesperson Chad Baldwin said the Board of Trustees is planning to interview the finalists and choose a successor to Tom Buchanan by Wednesday, February 27th.
Finalists
- Douglas D. Baker, provost and executive vice president at the University of Idaho.
- Warwick M. Bayly, provost and executive vice president at Washington State University.
- Robert Sternberg, provost at Oklahoma State University.
- Kim Wilcox, provost at Michigan State University.
Tom Buchanan is retiring as UW’s 23rd president this summer.
