Some anxious moments over the noon hour yesterday at Cheyenne’s Holly Frontier Refinery.

Company spokesman Thor Forseth says a gas leak in the refinery’s delayed coker unit caught fire shortly after noon yesterday.

Forseth says the refinery’s highly-trained fire brigade and operators responded quickly to isolate the fire by what he says was cooling the affected equipment. Cheyenne Firefighters also assisted.

The fire was out by 1:45 yesterday afternoon.
