It was quite a homecoming for Wyoming Cowgirl sophomore Kaitlyn Mileto. With a career high 27 points, Mileto lead the Cowgirls to an 86-48 win at Air Force this (Saturday) afternoon. Wyoming jumped out a big lead early on, leading by 15 at the half. That was a far cry from last year’s game with the Lady Falcons at Clune Arena, where it took Wyoming until the last 3 or 4 minutes to put the game away. Today there was no doubt, and Mileto says that the career high in points doesn’t mean as much as getting an important win on the road.
Wyoming improves to 15-4 overall and 4-2 in the Mountain West. They are at New Mexico Wednesday night.
