Better Chances of Snow and Turning Colder

By DayWeather, Inc. posted Jan 28, 2013 at 8:26AM

A cold front will work its way through the state today and tonight.  Snow showers, already found in portions of central and southwestern Wyoming will spread east as the day wears on.  Not only will travelers need to watch out for snow, but also for areas of fog mainly in some valley regions and in the north.  Winter Weather Advisories have been issued for portions of central and south central Wyoming.  A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the Sierra Madre Range and Snowy Range through 6pm Thursday.

The weather will stay quite active on Tuesday as well.  In the morning, additional snow showers will be found in the southeast.  Scattered snow showers will be found across the state throughout the day, especially in the mountains.  Also be ready for colder temperatures.  Highs on Tuesday will only be in the teens and 20s.
