Neighbor Says Killer Wanted His Father Dead For Giving Him Asperger’s Syndrome

By Mick Birge posted Dec 3, 2012 at 6:27AM

A man who police say killed his father, a woman and himself in Wyoming told a neighbor in Connecticut weeks before the killings that he believed his father gave him Asperger’s syndrome and said his dad should be “castrated” to prevent him from having more children.

Neighbor Matt DiPinto of Vernon, Conn., told reporters  Saturday that Christopher Krumm (left) made the comments while giving him a ride home a few weeks ago.

Police in Casper say the 25-year old Krumm shot an arrow into the head of his 56-year old father, James Krumm (center), on Friday while his father was teaching computer science in a classroom at Casper College.

Even though he was gravely wounded, Casper Police Chief Chris Walsh says James Krumm still managed to wrestle with his son.

Walsh says this allowed students in the classroom to flee.  Walsh and other police at the scene hail James Krumm’s actions as heroic.

Casper police Chief Chris Walsh says sadly, he could not survive the brutal attack.

Walsh says Christopher Krumm fatally stabbed himself after attacking his father.

Walsh also says before Christopher went to campus, he fatally stabbed his father’s live-in girlfriend 42-year-old Heidi Arnold (right) at the home the couple shared two miles away on Casper’s far southwest side.
