Although people over age 55 would not be affected by proposed Medicare reform, older citizens in Wyoming are largely opposed to the proposed changes.
Citing the results of a recent statewide poll, University of Wyoming Political Science Professor Jim King says 68 percent of those age 65 or older prefer continuing the current Medicare system.
Statewide, only 27 percent of the respondents favored changing Medicare.
