Wyoming men’s basketball coach Larry Shyatt was not pleased after the Pokes win last Friday as they won the Global Sports Hoops Showcase. Watching all three wins over the weekend on film didn’t make Shyatt feel any better either. In fact, Shyatt says he was more discouraged after watching the Cowboys lack of effort on the defensive side of the floor. Shyatt says it’s alarming to see what he saw, because, as he says, effort is something that a player can control, and it was something that he didn’t see from the Pokes last week.
Wyoming will be at Northern Colorado tomorrow (Tuesday) night. Tip off in Greeley is set for 7 pm.
