The Wyoming Cowboys had little problems with South Dakota in a 71-51 win in game two of the Global Sports Hoops Showcase tournament in Laramie.  Senior guard Luke Martinez knocked down a career high seven 3-pointers, the Cowboys as a team went 12-25 from beyond the arc.  Wyoming’s defense also smothered South Dakota, holding the Coyotes to 30 percent shooting.  Martinez finished the night with 21 points and gives credit to the Cowboy post players for getting him the ball……click for Luke Martinez audio.  Senior Leonard Washington had his second straight double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds.  He also knocked down a couple 3-pointers and says that the Cowboys are not afraid to fire shots up from beyond the arc…..click for Leonard Washington audio.  The Cowboys improve to 3-0 on the season, and will play Southern in the finale of the Global Sports Hoops Showcase, tap time is set for 8pm.  It will be a Cowboy/Cowgirl doubleheader tonight.  The Cowgirls will get things going first when they host Denver.  The Cowgirls dominated Idaho in their season opener last week.  Head coach Joe Legerski they will have their hands full with the Pioneers size tonight……..click for Joe Legerski audio.  Tap time for the Cowgirls is set for 5pm
