Wyoming Secretary of State Max Maxfield who is also President of the Board of Directors of the Cheyenne Animal Shelter says citations have been issued in the local animal cruelty case, involving 30 Shih Tzus.
The dogs were turned into the Cheyenne Animal Shelter, Friday, November 9th.
Linda Curl has been cited and is scheduled to appear in Laramie County Circuit Court on December 11th.
Maxfield described the condition of the dogs as “deplorable.”
He says they are continuing to be examined and are receiving medical treatment at the Cheyenne Animal Shelter.
What is going on with people anymore ? Everyday there’s more and more stories about abused animals. The horse drug behind a pickup in Texas – the dog thrown off an overpass in Oklahoma – 30 Abused Shih Tzus dropped off at the animal shelter. These people need to be held accountable for this !! And I don’t mean a slap on the hand either. These animals are put through HELL and back and they can’t speak for themselves, they can’t holler for help! We HAVE to stand up for them!! NOW !!!! These babies didn’t get in this condition over night – they’ve been abused for a very long time. And as such, Linda Curl and anybody else that knew the conditions off these babies should have to pay for a very long time !! And she should be banned from EVER HAVING ANOTHER ANIMAL AS LONG AS SHE LIVES !!
I am appauled at how a “human being” can be so cruel to an amimal. These babies didn’t get this way over night – they’ve been abused for a long time !! Linda Curl needs to get the maximum sentence allowed and be banned from EVER OWNING AN ANIMAL AGAIN FOR AS LONG AS SHE LIVES !!
