The University of Wyoming Board of Trustees has begun its search for a new president.
The board met yesterday afternoon in Laramie to discuss the process of selecting a successor to retiring President Tom Buchanan.
Buchanan announced last month that he will retire next year as head of the state’s only four-year public university.
Buchanan has served as president since July 2005.
