Wyoming head football coach Dave Christensen will not coach the Wyoming Cowboy football team this weekend.  Christensen has been suspended for one week and fined $50,000 dollars.  Athletics director Tom Burman made the announcement today saying the suspension is the result of Christensen’s actions after the the Cowboys loss to Air Force in which there was a verbal confrontation with the Falcon’s head coach Troy Calhoun.  A youtube video of the incident was also posted on line, and has received over 100 thousand hits of Christensen using vulgar language in the tirade.  Christensen will not be allowed at the football facilities or to coach.  Assistant coach Pete Kaligis will assume Christensen’s role this week for the Cowboys.
