Additional Snow Showers and Chilly Conditions

By DayWeather, Inc. posted Oct 25, 2012 at 9:18AM

Another weather disturbance is passing through the state.  As a result, snow showers have started back up again in the west.  The scattered snow showers will spread east and fill into the rest of the state this afternoon, tonight and into Friday morning.  A few inches of accumulation are expected.  The state’s mountain ranges and areas along and to the south of I-80 will see the most snowfall.  Travelers be aware of slick spots on roads throughout the state.

Despite more sun in portions of the state today, temperatures will stay cool and top off mainly in the 20s and 30s.  Lows tonight will be in the teens and 20s.

Snow will continue in portions of the state through Friday morning, with then clearing skies and more quiet weather by the afternoon.  It will be another chilly day.

Temperatures will warm up a bit this weekend.   Other than a few light mountain snow showers, both Saturday and Sunday look mainly dry statewide.
