The University of Wyoming is close to raising all the money needed to build a new, million-dollar indoor golf practice facility.
But UW athletics director Tom Burman is eyeing other projects that include a new swimming facility and upgrades to the Arena-Auditorium.
Burman says he’d like to see movement on those two projects within the next four years.
The Double-A turned 30 years old this month.
Burman says a $30 million renovation can partially be privately funded, but that UW will need the support of the state as well.
He says UW would likely need the state to pay for a $20 million swimming pool. Corbett Pool is 40 years old and not regulation length for Division I.
