Jury selection has taken place in a Fremonth County courtroom in Lander in the retrial of a Montana man who’s murder conviction in Fremont County was overturned last year.

The 25-year-old Ehlers’ body was found in Hoback Canyon in the early morning hours of June 21, 1984. 

Ehlers’ case went cold for decades before Sublette County brought charges against Willoughby in early 2009.
