Police in Sublette County are looking for the person or people responsible for an attack on a 20-year old Pinedale woman.

Police say the woman was found early Saturday morning by her roommate with what police say was a severe head injury.

The roommate told police she found the lights of the home on when she arrived and blood spattered as well.  The injured woman, whose name has not yet been released, was found lying in bed.  She was taken to Sublette County Medical Center in Pinedale.

Police say they have no suspects at this and investigators are trying to determine if two other similar incidents in the Pinedale area are connected.

In the meantime, the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with any information concerning this incident is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office immediately at 307-367-4378.

Sheriff Wayne Bardin (pictured) is also asking local residents use caution if you come upon a suspicious person or people and to secure your premises.
