Fire broke out early this morning at the Frontier Refinery in Cheyenne.
Cheyenne Deputy Fire Chief John Fox says the fire broke out in one of the crude units at about 5:40 this morning. Fox says refinery fire crews had the fire contained when Cheyenne Fire Department units arrived a short time later.
Fox says no one was hurt. The fire was completely put out in about an hour. He says the crude unit was extensively damaged. City fire and refinery investigators are on the scene this morning trying to determine how the fire started.
