Cheyenne Frontier Days officials are pleased with the attendance at some of the early events of the 114th edition of the “Daddy of ‘Em All.”

Last Saturday’s rodeo crowd drew nearly 14,000 to Frontier Park in Cheyenne; the KISS (pictured) concert Friday night brought in nearly 17,000 fans, and Brooks and Dunn drew nearly 21,000 fans over the weekend to kick off the 114th edition of Cheyenne Frontier Days.

CFD General Chairman Rod Hottle says he’s pleased with the early event attendance numbers.  He attributes the large crowds to his committee given fans good value for their money, as well as a good show…(Click to hear comment from Rod Hottle)

Hottle says Saturday’s rodeo crowd was the largest since 1996, which was the 100th anniversary of the “Daddy of ‘Em All!
