By Mick Birge posted Jul 22, 2010 at 9:35PM

Cheyenne Police have arrested 30 year-old William Jackson this evening.  Jackson fled from officers last evening (7-21-10), crashed into two different occupied cars and a light pole resulting in serious injury to his passenger.  Jackson fled on foot and became the subject of local manhunt.

Police arrested Jackson at approximately 7:00 p.m Thursday. Based on information developed by Cheyenne Police Detectives, Jackson was found hiding in the basement of a Cheyenne residence earlier this evening.   Jackson, who surrendered peacefully, was arrested at 3047 Forest Dr. and was transported to the Laramie County Detention Center.

Cheyenne Police continue to investigate the matter and continue to work with the District Attorney regarding the pending charges on Jackson.  Jackson had Laramie County arrest warrants at the time police tried to pull him over Wednesday night.
