Cheyenne police catch a burglar in the act.  Police say 34-year old Michael Duckworth of Cheyenne was apprehended early last night as he was leaving Henderson Elementary School (pictured) on the city’s far east side.

The school was closed for the day.  Police say Duckworth was arrested still carrying property he was stealing from inside the school.

A neighbor called police when they saw a suspicious male break a window and enter the school.  Police surrounded the school while Duckworth was still inside.  He was apprehended when he tried to escape from the south end of the school.
