The Cam-Plex in gillette is once again home to the High School National Finals Rodeo. The event starts Sunday evening with the first performance. Over 1500 contestants from 41 different states will invade the Razor City and preparations at the Cam-Plex are being completed. Included in that was a $98,000 project that installed metal roofs on the temporary horse stalls. Operations Manager Jimmy Williams said this would make the stalls more stable in the Wyoming wind than tarp roofs used before. (click here for audio with Jimmy Willaims)
Over 1,700 stalls are available for the rodeo which begins Sunday.
