With just a couple of weeks until the start of fall camp at Wyoming, the Cowboys are finishing up summer workouts. The Pokes have taken a bit of a hit along the offensive line since the end of spring practice. First it was JUCO transfer Nick Puetz leaving the team after spring. He was projected as a starter. Then, backup left tackle Thomas Vonashek was kicked off the team. That seems to leave the Pokes a little thin along the offensive front. But quarterback Austyn Carta-Samuels believes they will be just fine come start of the season. (click here for ACS audio)
Players will get a week off before fall camp begins on August 4th. The season opener is September 4th at home against Southern Utah.
