State Superintendent of Public Instruction Dr. Jim McBide has expressed concerns to the president of the University of Woming, and the Dean of the Education College about William Ayers giving a lecture at U. W.’s education auditorium on Monday. Ayres (pictured) is also scheduled to hold a conference call with Wyoming school principals on Tuesday.
Ayers was co-founder of a radical anti-Vietnam War group that claimed responsibility for a series of bombings. He’s even been called a terrorist by some.

Hill says she doesn’t know how many principals will participate in the conference call, Meanwhile, Ayers is an education professor at the university of Illinois at Chicago. His visit is sponsored by the privately-endowed U. W. Social Justice Research Center.
