Classes 1A and 2A saw their high school hoops season come to and end with a couple of thrilling State Championship games at the Casper Events Center. In class 2A, Wyoming Indian overcame a poor shooting night to beat previously unbeaten Southeast 52-51. The Cyclones seemed to be the winner at the buzzer, but officials determined the shot was put up after the buzzer sounded, giving Wyoming Indian the win. In the 2A girls game, Big Horn was 27-0 heading into the title tilt, but Tongue River wasn’t fazed. Tongue River rolled over Big Horn 55-38 to win the title. In class 1A, both state championships are headed back to Burlington. The Huskies beat St. Stephens 61-48 for the boys title, and the girls got all they could handle from Kaycee, but come away with the title after a 43-40 win.
