WHSAA Likes Oil City Bid

The Oil City keeps state culminating events. Casper will continue hosting the basketball, wrestling, volleyball and track and field state championship after the Wyoming High School Activities Association awarded those events to the city.  Casper’s bid included a one-time, 15-thousand dollar signing bonus to W-H-S-A-A, five-thousand dollars a year over the life of the bid and one-hundred percent of gate receipts to the Activities Association.  W-H-S-A-A commissioner Ron Laird said it was an easy decision to make….RON LAIRD   The bid also included a new basketball floor for the Casper Events Center.
