Snow on the way

A storm system will begin to bring light snows to far western and northern Wyoming on Wednesday.  The snow will be slow to spread south, however, by Thursday morning light snows will be likely over northern and central Wyoming. Snow will increase across the central, south and east late Thursday into Thursday night and Friday morning. All of Wyoming is likely to receive some snow accumulations by Friday morning. Snowfall of 2 to 6 inches is expected across most of the lower elevations by Friday morning with a few areas receiving heavier amounts. Travel is expected to affected by the snow as early as Wednesday across the north and west. Slick roads are likely to develop over all of Wyoming by Thursday into Friday.
