Snow in the far north, east and mountains.

By Don Day posted Feb 4, 2010 at 11:05AM

A small, but moist storm system will bring snow to the far eastern border areas of Wyoming today and into early tonight. Snow accumulations are most likely along the Nebraska and South Dakota borders and points east along I80 into Nebraska and I90 into South Dakota. Snowfall amounts will be 1 to 4 inches in those areas. Some snow showers will also be found across the Big Horn Basin and areas along the Montana/Wyoming border as well as over all of the major mountain ranges today. A break in the weather is expected on Friday.  Stock growers  and travelers should be prepared for another round of snow and likely much colder temperatures statewide Sunday into Monday as an Arctic surge will move southwest into Wyoming.
