House Wants Special License Plate For Families of Fallen Soldiers

By Mick Birge posted Feb 16, 2010 at 7:54AM

A bill is working its way though the Wyoming house that would authorize the issuing of a special license plate for Wyoming family members of soldiers killed while serving their country.  House bill 84 passed the house committee of the whole yesterday.  The bill would allow family members to purchase a gold star license plate (similar to the one pictured from Kentucky) in honor of their fallen service man or woman.  Representative Gregg Blikre of Campbell County says he knows what all parents who have lost children go through and he says those of fallen soldiers deserve a special license plate…(Click to hear comment from Rep. Blikre)

Representative Seth Carson from Albany County says a gold star plate is a great way to honor the family and the fallen soldier…(Click to hear comment from Rep. Carson)
