First storm winding down, next storm on the way

By Don Day posted Feb 18, 2010 at 3:21PM

Most of Wyoming has received some fresh snow over the past 24 hours. Most areas have received from 1 to 3 inches with many areas of central and southern Wyoming picking up 2 to 5 inches of new snow. More snow is likely tonight along the I-80 corridor of Wyoming, south into Colorado with an additional 1 to 2 inches possible. A small break in the weather will develop Friday, however, another storm system will arrive Friday night and Saturday bringing snow to most of Wyoming again. Snow may linger into the morning hours of Sunday. Once again, the heaviest snows will be found in southern and central Wyoming where several inches of new snow will fall from late Friday through early Sunday.
