Anna Nelson, Miss Wyoming 2009 will be competing this Saturday in Las Vegas at the 2010 Miss America Pagent.

Nelson (pictured lower right) is from Rock Springs.  Her platform is Preventing Teen Alcohol Abuse.  Her talent is a character dance done on point.

Preliminary competition is taking place this week.  Kelly Miller-Smart with the Miss Wyoming Scholarship Programs says Miss Wyoming held her own earlier this week in front of one of the more famous judges at the pagent, conservative radio commentator Rush Limbaugh (pictured upper right) …(Click to hear from Kelly Miller-Smart)

Tomorrow night there will be an hour-long TV special on the 2010 Miss America Pageant and of course the televised pagent itself is Saturday night. 

Both programs air on the TLC cable network.
