A series of small, but moist weather systems will move off the Pacific Northwest coast and into the Rockies through the weekend. While these systems will only produce scattered light snow showers across the plains of Wyoming, the mountains of the state will pick up several inches of snow with each system. Expect 3 to 8 inches of snow in the mountains of Wyoming tonight and early on Thursday. Another round of snow with additional accumulations likely will move into Wyoming Friday night and through Saturday. Some mountain snows may linger into Sunday.
