A complex and very intense winter storm will bring Wyoming a combination of cold, snow and blowing snow through Christmas Day. Only extreme western and southwestern Wyoming will be spared. Northern, central, southern and eastern Wyoming will be hit by very cold temperatures, snow and blowing snow from today through tonight with possibly another round of light snow Thursday night into early Friday. While snowfall amounts will generally be light, the strong north winds will cause considerable blowing and drifting of snow and very poor travel conditions.
