Winter storm and sometimes near blizzard conditions have been reported this morning across southeastern and eastern Wyoming. Strong north winds have caused significant blowing and drifting snow across the eastern and southeastern counties of the state overnight and this morning. Although snow intensities have dropped, snowfall has continued in many areas of central, southern and eastern Wyoming. Additional snowfall of 1 to 3 inches will be possible through this evening in the southeast and east. Slowly improving weather will be developing in far western, northwestern and southwestern Wyoming today. Snowfall totals of 8 to 14 inches are common in the east and southeast with the Laramie and Snowy Range mountains reporting 12 to 43 inches of new snowfall since the storm began.
