Wyoming Cowboy Sophomore center Adam Waddell will miss at least two to three weeks after having successful arthroscopic surgery on Wednesday to repair cartilage damage in his right knee. The Cody, Wy. native started 24 of 33 games as a redshirt freshman last season, averaging 5.1 points per game, and 3.9 rebounds per game along with 21 blocked shots. Head coach Heath Schroyer wouldn’t comment further on Waddell’s injury. The Cowboys will be in Fresno this weekend for a closed door scrimmage against the Bulldogs. No score or statistics will be made available.
