Northwest WYO Forest Fires Continue to Burn

Efforts continue to keep what is called the Bearpaw Bay fire from spreading to the east and into developed areas in Grand Teton National Park continue.   Tom Ninneman of affiliate KSGT in Jackson tells us the fire has grown to more than 3000 acres in size…(Click here to listen to Tom Ninneman’s story)

Meanwhile, fire crews are working through a cold front as they battle a wildfire in Yellowstone National Park. The fire expanded yesterday afternoon as winds up to 35 mph moved through the area. The same cold front brought thunderstorms and snow showers overnight Tuesday.  Today’s forecast calls for calmer winds.
