BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. (AP) — Authorities say a cardiac arrest appears to be the cause of death for a Cheyenne man who died while on Quandary Peak in central Colorado Friday morning.
Authorities identified the hiker as 44-year-old Kevin Joseph Gill of Cheyenne. He died Friday morning after collapsing just below the 14,265-foot summit.
Gill was co-owner of the Gill Window Co. An investigation is planned into his death.
